The 18 plates bring together the flags of all the infantry and cavalry regiments that made up the Austrian army during the Seven Years' War. These flags were drawn according to photos or drawings of flags presently in museums. For each infantry regiment, the flags of the period 1756-1763 are shown. 104 different flags, 138 flags in total.
For each regiment, the colonel flag (Leibfahne) and the regimental flag (Ordinarfahne) are proposed. 6 to 8 flags per plate. Each flag is 40mm in height. Each plate in A4 print format is joined by another plate, with strictly identical content, but in Letter print format. Depending on the scale of your miniatures, you will need to reduce the print size to get the height of flags you want. During the Seven Years' War, the colour (or soie) of an infantry flag measured between 1.50 and 1.80m high, that of a cavalry flag measuring between 50 and 60cm high.
Please note that the colonel flag (Leibfahne) was only assigned to the 1st battalion of each regiment. If the regiment consisted of several battalions, the 2nd, 3rd or 4th battalions did not have a colonel flag (Leibfahne) but had an additional regimental flag (Ordinarfahne) in order to replace the colonel's flag.
