The 13 plates bring together the flags of all the cavalry regiments that made up the Prussian army during the Seven Years' War. These flags were drawn according to photos or drawings of flags presently in museums. For each regiment, the flags of the period 1756-1763 are shown. 102 flags for the cuirassiers, 32 for the dragoons et 7 other cavalry flags (Kleist Freikorps & Hussars). A total of 76 flags !
For each regiment, the colonel flag (Leibfahne) and the regimental flag (Ordinarfahne) are proposed. 5 to 8 flags per plate. Each flag is 40mm in height. Each plate in A4 print format is joined by another plate, with strictly identical content, but in Letter print format. Depending on the scale of your miniatures, you will need to reduce the print size to get the height of flags you want. During the Seven Years' War, the colour (or soie) of an infantry flag measured between 1.50 and 1.80m high, that of a cavalry flag measuring between 50 and 60cm high.
Please note that the colonel flag (Leibfahne) was only assigned to the 1st squadron of each regiment. If the regiment consisted of several squadrons, the 2nd and following squadrons did not have a colonel flag (Leibfahne).
