At the end of July 1944, the Soviet army was approaching Warsaw. The Polish capital was ready to fight after five years of brutal German occupation. However, the Germans used their panzer divisions to slow down the Soviet advance. When the command of the Home Army decided to start the uprising, Stalin stopped the offensive, allowing the Germans to deal with the insurgents and destroy Warsaw.
The game gives you the opportunity to check whether there was a real possibility to help the fighting and bleeding capital of Poland.
A bold and risky strike by the Soviet and Polish armies seems tempting, but will the Germans watch it passively?
