The 25 plates bring together the flags of all the infantry and cavalry regiments that made up the Russian army during the Seven Years' War. These flags were drawn according to photos or drawings of flags presently in museums. For each regiment (by alphabetical order), the flags of the period 1756-1763 are shown. 8 flags for the Guard, 94 for the infantry regiments, 8 for the regiments of grenadiers, 12 for the "Observation's Corps", 1 for the artillery, 12 for the regiments of cuirassiers, 12 for the horse-grenadiers and 46 for the dragoons. A total of 193 flags !
For each regiment, the colonel flag (Leibfahne) and the regimental flag (Ordinarfahne) are proposed. 5 to 8 flags per plate. Each flag is 40mm in height. Each plate in A4 print format is joined by another plate, with strictly identical content, but in Letter print format. Depending on the scale of your miniatures, you will need to reduce the print size to get the height of flags you want. During the Seven Years' War, the colour (or soie) of an infantry flag measured between 1.50 and 1.80m high, that of a cavalry flag measuring between 50 and 60cm high.
